We look back on a long and steady development of our notary practice.

Since 1997, Reto Grogg has been practising as an independent notary in Grindelwald. Supported by dedicated and long-standing employees, he has built a reliable and family-oriented notary office. Legal practice has a long tradition in the Grogg family: Reto Grogg’s father previously ran a notary and law office in Grindelwald for many years, significantly shaping his professional path.

As the only notary office in Grindelwald, we are located in a truly special place. Situated at the foot of the Eiger North Face with views of the Wetterhorn, our office is embedded in a striking mountain landscape that attracts visitors from all over the world each year. We value personal service for both our local and international clients. This combination of strong regional roots and an international outlook has shaped our daily work since the very beginning.

Over the years, we have trained several apprentices as well as notary trainees. The promotion of young professionals is an integral part of our work, as is the continuous professional development of our staff and notaries in order to consistently expand our expertise and the quality of our services.

In 2025, the sole proprietorship was converted into Notariat Grogg AG to ensure the continuity and long-term development of our notary practice. At the same time, we were pleased to welcome Aline Hofer, a notary with strong regional roots, who has joined our team and supports our clients in all notarial matters.

Thus, a notary practice has emerged that is built on experience and continuity, makes use of the uniqueness of its alpine location, and remains open to modern develo-pments and new challenges.
